Britannia Lodge

Britannia Lodge is a good example of an innovative approach that WCR take. The building began life as a 24 bedroom hotel, each room having its own ensuite facilities. Wind the clock forward a dozen years, WCR, with the help of Welsh ICE, then converted the hotel into an office building while maintaining the 24 ensuites to provide facilities seldom seen in offices. The building therefore remains an integral part of the Caerphilly Business park.

Throughout its history, there is one constant – the creche on the ground floor. Indeed, the nursery has flourished and is now sole occupier of the ground floor, providing excellent childcare facilities that are a huge benefit to those on site with kids.
